JENNIFER BROOK

Jennifer Brook is a design practitioner who helps product teams do great things—her current practice focuses on qualitative and ethnographic research, design facilitation, and user experience strategy for early-stage products and companies.

Since 2012, she’s had an independent practice based in New York City and collaborates with companies like Vice, O’Reilly, The Line, and TechCrunch on insights-driven product and editorial strategies.

She previously worked on the user experience for the New York Times’ first generation mobile and iOS apps and presented the New York Times’ first iPad prototype on-stage at Apple’s iPad press conference in 2010. She teaches in the School of Visual Arts MFA of Interaction Design and facilitates workshops internationally. Her favorite design tools are magic wands and time machines.
